What is Traditional Paintball?
Traditional Paintball at North East Adventure Paintball & Airsoft is the classic experience players know and love. Using standard mechanical paintball markers that fire 68-caliber paintballs, this format delivers exciting, fast-paced action that’s a step up from our Low Impact Paintball.
Traditional paintball is for ages 8+ up due to the size and weight of the gear and the intensity of 68-caliber rounds. It’s the perfect choice for teens and adults looking for a real-deal paintball experience near Elkton, Newark, Wilmington, Baltimore County, and throughout Cecil, Harford, Kent, and Queen Anne’s Counties.
Walk-ons are always welcome—no reservation needed! Just stop by and join a group of fellow paintball players. However, due to high demand, we suggest booking rental gear in advance to ensure availability.

What is Low Impact Paintball?
Low Impact Paintball is a great option for kids, beginners, and anyone looking for a gentler introduction to paintball. Instead of standard .68 caliber paintballs, our low impact games use .50 caliber paintballs—smaller, lighter, and much less intense on impact.
These paintballs are easier on the skin, making the experience more enjoyable for younger players and families. They also break more easily on contact, and their lighter weight means a less intimidating game for first-timers. It’s safe, exciting fun for ages 6 and up!
Plus, our low impact paintballs are non-toxic, stain-resistant, and wash out of most clothing—keeping paintball clean, safe, and fun for everyone across Cecil County and surrounding areas.
